40 Th Sketchcrawl in Oslo

[Portrait of Sol and boat in Oslo port.]
After I found out that my scheduled holiday to Norway coincided with the latest World Wide SketchCrawl, I got in touch with the Oslo group. It was a great opportunity that was presented to us and we took advantage of it so we could meet and share that day with this friendly group.

We were lucky with the weather and although it was a bit cloudy at midday and a few raindrops fell, it was great. The appointment was at 12 noon, at the promenade in front of the City Hall. A blazing sun, about 30 degrees at the time of the appointment, was scorching Simon and Trond (they were the first to arrive). When we were together and we had not yet finalized the place to sketch, it was suggested that we go to a skateboard ramp, an island, a nudist beach,...

The crawl became an authentic tour through Oslo; after we took a look at the skating rink, the group decided to take a boat to the beautiful peninsula called Bygdoy, after practicing the national sport; (a long line of half an hour. ), a boat trip and about 2 km. hike, we arrived at the beach and took some sketches. Ah! By that time, I really felt like doing a portrait of these blond and white skinned Norwegians.

After meeting again after lunch, we took a bus to the city centre and we continued drawing in the square in front of the National Theatre.
Afterwards, we went to a bar called Tekehtopa (Apotheket) Pigalle to share a meal/ drink before we parted ways. It was a fruitful day and it was a real pleasure meeting our Norwegian Skecth crawlers. Cafe Tekehtopa. Sketchcrawl in Oslo
